  • You accept financial responsibility for all transactions made

2. Nature of Services

Sineklo provides:

  • Tailor-made travel packages and experiences in Sri Lanka
  • Handcrafted products and goods

All travel services are offered in collaboration with third-party suppliers (hotels, transport providers, guides, etc.).

3. Booking & Confirmation (Travel Services)

All travel packages listed on this website are:

A booking is confirmed only when:

  • We receive your written confirmation
  • Payment (deposit or full) is received
  • Availability is confirmed by suppliers

We reserve the right to accept or decline any booking request.

4. Payments

Deposit: if applicable

  • Standard bookings: 20% non-refundable deposit
  • Peak season: up to 50% deposit
  • Bookings within 30 days: 100% upfront payment

Final Payment:

  • Balance must be paid 30 days before arrival
  • Failure may result in cancellation

Payment Methods:

  • Bank transfer
  • Credit/debit card (secure gateway)

All bank charges are the responsibility of the client.

5. Pricing Policy

  • Prices are quoted in USD (unless stated otherwise)
  • Prices may change due to:Exchange rate fluctuationsSupplier price changesGovernment taxes or fees

Final pricing is confirmed at the time of booking.

6. Amendments & Cancellations

By the Customer:

  • 31–60 days: deposit forfeited
  • 15–30 days: 25% charge
  • 8–14 days: 50% charge
  • 7 days or less: 100% charge

No refunds for unused services after the trip has started.

By Sineklo:

We reserve the right to modify itineraries if necessary due to:

  • Weather
  • Safety concerns
  • Supplier availability

Alternative arrangements of similar standard will be provided where possible.

7. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering:

  • Trip cancellation
  • Medical emergencies
  • Personal belongings

8. Passports, Visas & Health

It is your responsibility to ensure:

  • Valid passport
  • Required visas
  • Health requirements and vaccinations

Sineklo is not liable for travel disruptions due to missing documentation.

9. Supplier Responsibility

Sineklo acts as a coordinator between you and third-party suppliers.

We are not liable for:

  • Acts or omissions of third-party providers
  • Delays, cancellations, or service disruptions beyond our control

10. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for changes or cancellations due to events beyond our control, including:

  • Natural disasters
  • Political unrest
  • Pandemics
  • Weather conditions

11. Liability

We accept responsibility only where loss or damage is caused by our proven negligence.

We are not liable for:

  • Personal injury, loss, or damage during travel
  • Delays, accidents, or external disruptions

12. Behavior

Clients must behave responsibly during travel.

We reserve the right to terminate services without refund if behavior:

  • Is disruptive
  • Puts others at risk
  • Violates local laws

13. Complaints

Any issues must be reported:

  1. Immediately to the service provider
  2. To Sineklo during the trip

Formal complaints must be submitted within 28 days after travel.

14. Website Use & Accuracy

We aim to provide accurate information, but:

  • Content may contain errors or changes
  • Images are for illustrative purposes

Use of website information is at your own risk.

15. Product Purchases (Crafts & Goods)

For physical products:

  • Items are subject to availability
  • Variations may occur due to handmade nature
  • Shipping times may vary

  • Customs duties or import taxes
  • Delays caused by shipping providers
